This was a fun commissioned project we did for a client. The request was to take an obscure reference to a fictitious band (“The Defiance Of Anthropomorphic Sea Mammals“) from the show, Portlandia, and turn it into a custom designed poster for her friend, along with a few other references to their friendship.
