By proxy of our friends over at Averista Printing, we worked to design this Breastfeeding Logo Design for a local gal who encourages, teaches, and supports women who wish to meet their breastfeeding goals. Obviously being close to the shore presents us with the opportunity to tie in some elements that represent the area that she works for.
The owner is an IBCLC – International Board Certified Lactation Consultants are referred to as the “Gold Standard” when it comes to lactation care. They specialize in clinical management of breastfeeding. At Shore Breastfeeding they use evidence-based practices to educate and empower you to make informed decisions for your family. IBCLCs must keep up to date by re-certifying every 5 years. They’ll collaborate with your health care provider and your baby’s health care provider to care for you and your baby. Investing in an IBCLC is not only financially beneficial, as formula for the first year averages $2,000, its health benefits for mother and baby have been well documented.
