Shop Rite LPGA Photo Editing
I had a great time this weekend working with John Dimaio Photography at the 2013 Shop Rite Classic LPGA Tournament presented by Acer at the Stockton Seaview Resort & Spa. My time was spent culling and transferring sponsorship photos of the course and LPGA players onto a computer, editing the best ones for them to post on social media and send to the sponsors and then handled some of the printing so that the players could autograph the photos for a few lucky attendants. I would estimate sifting through and editing approximately 3,000 photos in only 3 days.
All of this was done in the media room, which was the epicenter for all the coverage of the day. There were tons of employees from the Golf Channel, ESPN and of course the LPGA that were fervently posting, Tweeting and blogging about the events. It was a fabulous place to network and I had a really positive experience working with John as well.
Highlights of my weekend included watching the Michelle Wie press conference on day 2 and 3 (she’s gorgeous and has such an amazing statuesque presence), standing on the 18th hole green with Shanshan Feng and then of course being there as Karrie Webb took the Solheim Cup! Here is a great article from The Current about the event. After all that, I can’t wait to get out and golf some more this summer.
Photos below depict some editing of I.K. Kim (Photo credit to John Dimaio), being in the autograph circle with Michelle Wie and of course Karrie Webb as she was announced winner.
